Originally from Cameroon in the central part of Africa, Chimene Ngnintoundem immigrated to the US to follow her long time dream and passion to make her mark in the beauty industry. She has been in the beauty industry since 2012.
Chimene is no ordinary hairstylist; her cuts, coloring and hair extensions show her creative vision and passion.
Chimene has pioneered her career on the belief that continuing education is a major cornerstone of success. In 2012, she graduated from world class stylist Laara K Raynier’s Master Cutter Academy. She also attended the Bronner Brother’s Hair Show in Atlanta, GA were she was inspired to take a weaving class instructed by celebrity Stylist Kiyah Wright.
Chimene continued her education in 2014, participating in a series of intensive Master Color Classes including Color Fix, Counter Culture, Mix Master and more. In 2014, she also graduated from the Redken Academy in New York as a Redken-Certified Colorist. In the following year Chimene won a mentorship program with Redken Artistic Director Kris Sorbie.
In 2016, Chimene established a personal goal to take the beauty industry by storm, by becoming a triple-threat in cut, coloring, and hair extensions.
Since then, Chimene has participated in several hands-on classes with renowned weavologists Tomeka Jones and Sharon Reams at the Bronner Brother’s Hair Show in Atlanta, Georgia. She also participated in training by Master Cutter Marcia Gallant and Weave Specialist Queenie the Stylist and attended the International Beauty Show in New York City.
Appreciating that the foundation of any lucrative business is its brand, Chimene attended Rasheedah Burrell’s Brand Building Beauty Expo and remains committed to providing her clients with a timeless and professional experience.
